BEREVEAMENTDeepest sympathy is expressed to Dessie Cullen, his family and friends on the recent death of his wife, Colette. There was a very large attendance of friends in St Columba’s Church for Mass of the Resurrection on Friday afternoon, June 16. Mary was interred in Rosses Point cemetery immediately afterwards. Sligo Weekender THE DEATH took place recently (suddenly) at her home of Mrs. Collette Cullen, 69 Mountain Close, Cartron View, Sligo and Rosses Point. Remains reposed at her home and were removed on Friday to St. Columba’s Church in Rosses Point for 2.30pm concelebrated Mass of the Resurrection. Burial took place immediately afterwards at Rosses Point Cemetery. Sincere sympathy is extended to her husband, Des; sons, David, Paul, Peter and daughter, Jenny; mother, Mary; sister, Martina, relatives, neighbours and many friends. She is survived by her children Fergal, Declan, Sinead and Grainne, a journalist with the Irish Independent. Ms Cunningham's removal is in St Brendan's Church, Tralee, this evening, followed by Funeral Mass tomorrow at 12.30pm Irish Independent
